The 5 sisters who are from Okene in Kogi State, Nigeria, are known as Dr Salamat Aliu (first female Neurosurgeon in West Africa), Dr Halima Aliu (Plastic Surgeon), Dr Raliat Aliu (Obstetrician and Gynaecologist), Dr Khadijah Aliu (Family Physician), and Dr Medinah Aliu (Public Health Physician)
