From feeding pets for rewards to new seeds and DLC, Grow a Garden is getting plenty of exciting updates this Saturday.

This Saturday, Grow a Garden will roll out the much-anticipated Feed a Pet update. While the specifics are still somewhat unclear, players can expect a new pet-feeding mechanic that rewards players for feeding certain pets, such as Wendigo and Moth. These pets are expected to gain increased value during the update, making them essential for anyone looking to maximize rewards. The update is being compared to the Chipmunk Update 2.0, with a focus on basic pet interactions rather than major new content.

The main highlight of the update is the ability to feed your pets to earn rewards. This mechanic promises to add a new layer of utility to pets like Wendigo and Moth, which are particularly suited to this type of interaction. While detailed information is still sparse—especially after testers were removed from the process—it is anticipated that the core of this update will revolve around simple feeding mechanics without introducing anything too groundbreaking. Grow a Garden tokens trading allows you to exchange tokens for other in-game items, making them very useful for expanding your garden.

In addition to the pet-feeding feature, the Season 4 Pass will launch alongside this update. Players will need trade tokens to access the pass, which will likely bring new content and rewards. Among the teased new additions are unreleased seeds like the Star Plant, Heart Gem (likely tied to an upcoming Valentine's event), Purple Tree Shroom, Amazon Feather Fern, Jungle Cherry, and Luminova. The Heart Gem in particular is expected to have a high base value of 35,000, making it a highly sought-after item in the game.

As for DLC content, players will be able to acquire exclusive items such as the Flame Bee pet and the Diamond Giant Pine Cone seed. These items will be available through codes hidden inside Grow a Garden Blind Boxes. Once a player purchases a blind box and retrieves the code, they can redeem it on the Fatmo website for instant access to these DLC pets and seeds. However, the exact locations where these blind boxes can be purchased remain unclear, which has sparked a lot of community curiosity.

With the update arriving soon, players are also anticipating the debut of new pets, although their abilities are still under wraps. Some of the teased seeds might be rolled out as well, adding further excitement. While some players are viewing this update as potentially light on content, the introduction of the new pet-feeding mechanic and the arrival of Season 4 should still provide plenty of fresh experiences.

The Feed a Pet update marks another step in Grow a Garden's ongoing evolution. While it may not bring revolutionary changes, it promises to add useful new features and content that will keep players engaged. Stay tuned for more leaks and updates as the game continues to grow.
