Peer Health Educators (PHE) at Cal Poly Humboldt 
PHE currently has three faculty members, Sierra Cosper, Selena Aguilera, and Emily Black, who have been with PHE for more than two years.

Cosper said they often feel awkward and resistant when talking about sex education and sex toys in their work practices as peer health educators.

And when it comes to lovedoll, some boys are more resistant than girls.

“Some boys will exaggerate when they talk about psychosexual health, saying, ‘Oh, how could I be involved in that?’” Cosper said, “Maybe a lot of boys have a bias against sex toys and how a toy can compare to their penis.”

Emily added that when she introduces new students, she usually omits the part about sex toys so as not to seem too abrupt and misleading.Emily also mentioned that she had never been exposed to mental health education about sex and custom sex doll before coming to work at PHE.

Using sex toys isn't just for solo use; couples can have a great experience using them together, and PHE also suggests trying out the toys yourself before recommending them to your partner to avoid misunderstandings caused by false recommendations.

“There's also the misconception that your partner is using sex toys because you're not good enough,” says Cosper. “But in reality, love doll are really fun.”

Of course, if you use love doll it's important to be hygienic and take proper care of them to avoid spreading disease. Toys often come with care instructions that instruct you on how to properly clean and care for them. Avoid toys made of porous materials and use lubricants on TPE sex toys to slow the aging of the material.

PHE often hosts events that allow participating students to share topics about sexual and mental health in a relaxed manner, advocating for a more open and inclusive approach to blowjob sex doll and changing some of the outdated and taboo notions.

Aguilera said, "Some students may feel embarrassed, but it's actually cool to have something you like. There's no shame in showing off your favorite things."

On April 23, PHE also organized its annual Sexland event, a fun, positive and informative event with a sex toy giveaway.
